My name is Saket Kanagal
a High School Senior at Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru, India. As an aspiring STEM major and entrepreneur, I enjoy using technology to solve key challenges in my community.
I am a passionate science student focused on Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Eager to learn and apply my skills, I thrive in collaborative environments and aim to make a meaningful impact through innovative products and ideas.

Besides this, I am a passionate educator and teacher. I have led a team of student mentors to teach Computer Science at my school and founded the Computer Engineering Club to teach 20+ Primary and Middle School students about Computer Engineering. Additionally, I have written research papers on topics in Physics and Chemistry.

Internship at Vidatt
Vidatt is a Video Artificial Intelligence startup specializing in computer vision and AI solutions for traffic management, crowd management, incident detection, and security.

During the internship I learned the Basics of Computer Vision and Embedded Systems. I also joined a team of R&D engineers to create a solution that detects missing automobile parts on an assembly line using OpenCV. We also integrated the program with a camera module. I gained skills in collaboration and problem-solving.
Also, I worked with a team of engineers, helping develop a wildfire detection system for South Indian forests using cameras and edge computers. We focused on creating and integrating efficient algorithms to minimize the computational load on the edge devices.
